Emotional Sea

Animism theory believes believes there is a soul or natural spirit in all objects existing in the world, and that it can control or influence other natural phenomena. Building on this theory, I believe that the installation can evoke a respectful conversation between humans and nature by triggering embodied actions that transfer a feeling to the mind. This installation can be regarded as a meta-narrative, simplified as a relationship between humans and sea. When you stand far away from this project, you can hear the sounds of the sea and visualize the blue sea in front of you. People are attracted by the sound and light effects and want to get closer to this project in order to find out more. However, if people are too close to the project, closer than the safe distance, nature will respond with horrible sounds and bright red light to drive people back. Since there is a respectful distance. I expect people can realise what is a better relationship between human and the sea through this interaction process.
